About Me
Welcome to my site. My name is Jennifer Kloepfer. I am a mother of three wonderful girls and wife to a very loving and understanding husband (Jon). I am a jewelry maker and beloved crafter. My passion in life is my family and animals. My love for animals goes way beyond words. My heart is in rescue work and therefore I do not support buying animals from pet stores, Craigslist, Trade Shows, Flea Markets or Malls.
If you need help in trying to find a pet that is right for you, no matter if it is a Sugar Glider or any other animal, please feel free to call me anytime and I will help you locate a rescue or breeder.
How did I become acquainted with Sugar Gliders? When my daughter Hannah was five, she brought home a book about Sugar Gliders and of course asked if she could get one. I researched them and based upon the amount of work involved in caring for them, I told her no but she would not give up. Three years later she asked me to look into them again, so I agreed. Although my daughter Hannah still is not old enough to own her own Sugar Glider, she along with my other two daughters are very active in helping me with loving, feeding and caring for our precious gliders.
One day I did an online search for gliders in Wisconsin checking out different breeder sites when I came across Harley, a little male joey who was cute as an angel! I knew he had to be mine so I contacted his breeder, Celeste Steele. She gave me so much helpful information and talked with me for hours every week for the next two months until Harley was 9 weeks old and ready to be brought home.
Harley along with eleven of his glider friends are now my precious forever babies and I love them like I do my own children.
